Media Monitoring

SNACMA has historically operated a UK daily media monitoring service and from 1 February 2018 this was extended to all PPA members.

As appropriate, the PPA secretariat will rebut negative and factually incorrect statements about our members products (collectively).

The daily monitoring service was sent to a controlled email circulation list, but as of March 2026 we have taken the decision to suspend the service. We plan to resume a service once we are able to confirm that we meet all relevant legal requirements.

PPA is currently investigating options for a third party to supply the information, although the format of the reporting is likely to change.  

The PPA secretariat continues to monitor news regadring our sectors’ products. Although this information is not shared on a daily basis with members, we will continue to issue a 6-monthly report comparing media coverage with previous periods and highlighting trends in media portrayal of our products.
